You figure Steve would've died for being mauled by a croc, btu instead was stabbed by a sting ray. Just like you figure Earnhardt would've gone down barrel rolling across the front straight on fire (that's if you could even believe it was possible for him to pass on). RIP Steve Irwin. texaslocalboy2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Report Share Posted September 5, 2006 those things hurt. i am glad that when i got struck by one of those sting rays it was in the top of the foot. i tried to pull it out but it was to slimmy. i feel really bad for the whole world, that we lost one of the great and well know characters of the world. all prayers go out to his family. REBELRACER Posted September 5, 2006 Report Share Posted September 5, 2006 he was a crazy guy for messing with all of them dangerous animals........but he was also a conservationist of wildlife and was really huge on getting people to learn and experience wildlife.........his thinking was that if he could introduce folks to wildlife and allow them to experience it, they would fall in love with it and in turn not try to destroy it.........he will be missed for sure, and i really feel bad for his wife and kids..............rip steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
