badsonic
It was packed last night at San Antonio Raceway easily 6,000+ people. Jus for an import and a domestic street car racing.2 local radio stations gave away free tickets . To get in the track 15.00 at the gate. My point is why can't local circle tracks have the same success. Obviously Drag racing isn't a drag if you have so many people watching street cars go at it. SASPEEDRACER24
Might be because a large portion heard all the advertising done for the event... and its alot earier to race a street legal car than you can a circle track car. Dont hear of many street legal cars running circle track races...

kn1ghtblade
As to the advertising SA Raceway does do alot more advertising than SAS... ALthough I noticed a change in that the last couple of big races at SAS had some nice advertising... I know from people I talk to about the car I am building and where I am running it didnt even know SAS was out there.... I think with advertising bigger crowds will start to show...
