Sirizzotti, Smith will make ‘double’ with Trey Ware, KTSA-AM Watch Party

 

Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS) Late Models drivers Kyle Sirizzotti (15, Helotes) and Cody Smith (17, La Vernia) – both Rookie of the Year and Points Championship candidates – are scheduled to join KTSA-AM 550 (San Antonio) twice in two days this coming weekend.

 

Sirizzotti (fourth in the TSRS points standings) and Smith (second) are scheduled to appear on “Morning Edge” with Trey Ware on 550-KTSA at 6:10 a.m. Friday morning. Ware, a legend in local racing circles, will interview both youngsters at once on the show.

 

Then the Young Guns of TSRS will join Ware, Dawn Murphy and the rest of the KTSA-AM crew for the a NASCAR Watch Party at Stats Sports Bar in San Antonio. Sirizzotti and Smith will be featured at the Watch Party – they’ll have their TSRS race cars on display, meet with fans, sign autographs and appear on KTSA’s Pre-Race show with Ware and Murphy.

 

Sirizzotti and Smith are clients of K-MAC Sports Productions of Austin (TX).

 

“We’re excited for the exposure both Kyle and Cody will get this weekend,” said K-MAC Sports co-owner/business manager Chuck Licata, who heads up K-MAC Sports’ Public Relations department along with PR Director Bobby Chaffee. “I know the two will represent themselves, their race teams and TSRS in a commendable fashion. We thank Trey, Dawn and the entire KTSA-AM staff for this opportunity.”

 

The weekend will be a prelude to KTSA-AM Night at the Races at Thunder Hill Raceway on Sept. 2.
