The stars and cars will be competing on the 2.9 mile road course of the famed Texas World Speedway in Bryan, Texas. The only other road race the series has ever run was in 2004 as a non points race to conclude the season in Fort Worth. This time the points will count and as drivers have a lot is riding on this race. Current point leader, Tommy Gural, finished third at the Ft. Worth race in 04 and is looking forward to the challenges a road course offers drivers and their crews in getting a car set up to turn right and left. Many other drivers like young guns Cody Smith and Kyle Sirizzotti will be taking their first road course race in a late model car. Front straight-a-way speeds are expected to push the 150 MPH mark so power will be as important, but road course racing is really more about set-up than pure speed.
