Richardson will be making another appearance and displaying his NASCAR Craftsman Truck on Friday, July 28, at Lone Star Dodge in San Antonio from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, July 29, Richardson will be appearing at North Carolina Furniture Store in San Marcos from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

San Antonio Speedway will host Richardson’s final San Antonio appearance on Saturday, July 29, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the entrance to the grandstands.

Local country music station Y-100 will be doing live broadcasts during all three of Richardson’s San Antonio appearances.

Richardson is from McKinney, Texas, and he began his racing career in 2003 with the ROMCO Super Late Model Series (currently known as the USRA Super Late Model Series). He has raced with the ROMCO series at several Texas asphalt tracks, including San Antonio Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Thunder Hill Raceway, Corpus Christi Speedway and Houston Motor Speedway. In April 2004, Richardson claimed his first ROMCO victory at Texas Motor Speedway, after starting in the sixth position.

Prior to joining the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Richardson toured the country by racing with the ARCA Re/Max Series and the NASCAR Autozone Elite Division, in both the Midwest and Southeast Series.

During each of these appearances, racing fans will have the opportunity to enter the Ultimate Race Weekend contest sponsored by Benchmark Mortgage. One lucky fan will get the opportunity to experience “NASCAR to the Extreme” at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) on November 5, 2006. The Ultimate Race Weekend will include pit passes to the TMS race that is part of the Chase for the NASCAR Nextel Cup, along with suite accommodations and a $500 cash award for travel expenses.

“We’re proud to sponsor Robert’s tour of San Antonio this week,” said Dallas Marshall, Christopher Hoffman and JD Scott, all local Branch Managers from Benchmark Mortgage. “We know that Robert has deep Texas roots, and we want to give his Texas fans a chance to get to know him better.”

Benchmark Mortgage was rated as the #57 company on the Inc. magazine’s 2005 list of the fastest growing companies in the United States.

Following Richardson’s autograph session on Saturday, July 29, race fans are invited to watch the racing action at San Antonio Speedway. The USRA Modifieds and Trucks will be appearing at the speedway, along with the NASCAR Late Model, Sportsman, Road Runner and Grand Stock classes.

The first green flag will drop at 7 p.m. on Saturday night.

Admission for Saturday night’s race is $15 for adults, $8 for Senior/Military with ID, $3 for children 7-12. Children 6 and under are free.
