TPS at Thunder Hill Raceway July 2 - Rained Out

 

San Antonio - July 2, 2006

 

The July 2nd Texas Pro Sedan series race program has been postponed due to rain which stopped and then resumed a heavy downpour at approximately 6:15pm after two rounds of practice had been completed at Thunder Hill Raceway.

 

Texas Pro Sedans Race Director Neil Upchurch said “I have communicated with Thunder Hill Raceway officials. We both regret that this Sunday’s event can’t be run on schedule”. However we did arrive at a workable make up date solution.

 

The next scheduled Texas Pro Sedan TPS race date will be on Saturday, July 15 at San Antonio Speedway.

 

If the SAS event is completed on July 15, the Texas Pro Sedan make up race date at Thunder Hill Raceway will be on Saturday, July 22, 2006. If the SAS race is not completed on July 15, the TPS make up race date at Thunder Hill Raceway will then be on Saturday, August 12, 2006. The July 2 TPS Race Bulletin which was sent to all TPS members will be followed on either above stated rain dates.

 

All TPS drivers of cars which arrived at THR on July 2 will receive one gate bonus point when the race is made up and completed.

Oct 28.........Thunder Hill Raceway - “10th THR Stock Car Spectacular” ($1,000 to winner)

Nov 11........2006 Awards Dinner (at Carlos Kelly’s, 6846 Highway 87 East in San Antonio)
