Kids will take center stage on Central Texas’ fastest 3/8-mile race track

Some kids have the dream of driving on a race track.

The JRA Kids club, based out of Austin, will give kids ages 4-13 a chance at that dream - in a very safe way - this Saturday, May 27 at Thunder Hill Raceway (THR) in Kyle (located at exit 210 off IH-35).

JRA Kids Club hosts four bike races this season at THR. Boys and girls from all over Texas will ride for bragging rights, starting this Saturday. Each of five age groups will go different distances around the THR, which is a 3/8-mile short track. The May 27 bike race is presented by Fast Tracks T’s & Graphics out of San Antonio.

All of the kids will be completing head-to-head in five age groups for the famous “Hardware” provided by Checkered Flag Racing & Sports Collectibles (San Antonio). None of the racers will walk away empty-handed, as race sponsor Fast Tracks T’s & Graphics has made it possible for all participants to receive a participation award for the night’s events.

Kids and their parents can sign up for the JRA Kids Club & bike races at the JRA Clubhouse upon arriving at the race track on Saturday night. The JRA Club house, located at the top side of Turn 1 at THR, is a must-see venue on anyone's visit. Checkered Flag Collectables keeps the JRA Clubhouse well supplied with all the latest racing merchandise. JRA also has picture CDs of previous races, and the recently released Thunder Hill Raceway documentary DVD, "Long Shots On a Short Track.”

JRA Kids Club is the exclusive kids' club of Thunder Hill Raceway. Members aged 4-13 receive opportunities like no others in Central Texas. From meeting up-and-coming racing stars to camping over night in the infield at Thunder Hill Raceway, JRA kids get ample opportunity to see and experience events in the race world other kids can only dream of.
