rebelracewriter Posted May 7, 2006 Report Share Posted May 7, 2006 Green Team Takes 1-3-5 at HOT  ELM MOTT—T.J. Green led an all Robinson resident threesome to the finish line in the I.M.C.A. SportMod feature Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway with Eric Tomlinson in second and his father, Keith, in third. T.J.’s younger brother, Kevin, followed fourth place driver, Keith White from Academy, to finish the race fifth in a field of twenty-six racers.  The program was completed with an abbreviated street stock feature due to and dramatic rollover by Doug Andrews of Waco and severe weather approaching the area. John Heffelfinger from Waco won the short race followed by Paul Steel, Jr. from Chilton and Ed Thompson from Waco.  Belton residents Pat McGuire and G.W. Egbert picked up first and second places in the I.M.C.A. modified feature. Keith Green scored another third place finish for the night in this race.  Another Belton driver, Charles Cosper, won the I.M.C.A. hobby stock feature race tailed by Jason Gallimore from Waco and Noel Jones from Fort Worth.  Jason Honey from Waco took the checkered flag first in the I-Stock feature. Chad Estes from Troy and Tim Ezell from Buffalo were second and third.  Jeff Williams from Waco earned his first feature win of the season in the pure stock class. Slim Daniel from Bellmead ran second and Brandon Goodnight from Mart was third.  Elm Mott drivers Jeff Woodruff and Michael Haisler were the first two across the finish line in the cruiser race. Sean Robertson from Waco ran third.  Jeff Kinnaind from Mansfield, Corbin Taylor from Waco, and Dylan Smith from Riesel took the top three spots in the junior mini stock feature.  The first of two Demolition Derbies scheduled this year is on tap next Friday night along with a regular race program for all classes. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. and races begin at 8:00 P.M. Check for coming events at www.heartotexspeedway.com  Coming Events  May 12, 2006 Friday 8:00 P.M.
