San Antonio, TX (May 6, 2006) - The United States Racing Association Modified Series, the USRA Truck Series and the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series stock car racing program scheduled for tonight (May 6) at San Antonio Speedway has been postponed until June 3, 2006, due to the weather system that hit the track hard this morning.

"The parking lot is under water," said Terry Dickerson, the SAS CEO. "We know that a lot of our touring series teams have a long way to drive, so we wanted to get the word out early."

The June 3 makeup date will be in conjunction with the "Guitars and Stock Cars" promotion at the track that weekend.

"I've decided to add some excitement to the USRA Modified and Truck races that weekend by making them both "Double Down" events," Dickerson said. "And not only that, but we're going to add $100 to the $500 Joe Aramendia "bounty" too."

More information will be released about the "Double Down" and "Guitars and Stock Cars" promotion in the next week or two.

The next scheduled event at the half-mile, high-banked oval is set for June 3, 2006.
