Purestock3
Set your castor right, and you shouldn't have a problem w/out power steering. Darenger 3-D
Racer26
Power steering on dirt is a must. Don't even question the loss of HP, it's not worth it. You turn the wheel to much on dirt compared to asphalt.
spedfrk
I will tell you, you can't run a quick steer with out power steering. I tried it...it don't work..
Braunfels99
You can do it,,but from what I hear you are askin' for some really wore out shoulders by the end of the race...
Purestock3
Personally, I don't have power steering, but I don't have quick steer either. Honestly I'm not having any trouble. Lots of wheel movement, but my castor is set to make it easy. Also...I'm not in a modified w/ a lot more HP, and a lot more laps. poorboy
Yes run p/s with or without a quick steer, it is alot easier to be smoth. If you don't want p/s then get a manual steering box it won't be as sloppy feeling. Dareger may not notice how bad it is because he has probably ran it that way since he started. Ask the #72 pure stock, I finally convinced him to add a p/s pump.

Purestock3
Also I have shoulder supports on my seat, makes a huge difference. Poorboy is right....I never have ran power steering. I should probably give it a try. Darenger 3-D
