Mona
Just a quick hello to all the racing community. I am in Vera Cruz, Mexico on a medical mission trip. We walked into the village today and found a computer place and of course I had to check out texas speedzone. This just really makes me homesick. I hope all had a wonderful Christmas and that all will have a Happy New Year and a safe one. I will update when I return in January. I have many stories and pictures to share. I now appreciate my way of life and the luxuries that I have. Mona Turner

Mona
I finally made it back home. It sure feels good to have the luxuries again. We were taking care of the Totanacan Indians in Coyutla, Vera Cruz, Mexico. That region is very different than anything I had ever experienced before. Our clinic saw over 1000 patients in the 6 days that we worked. We did 68 surgeries in the same 6 days. I think everyone should drive in that part of Mexico. They would then be able to drive on a race track without any problem. It felt just like a racetrack, except for the topes (speed bumps.) Let me think that over again, SAS has a topes coming out of turn 2. I'm glad to be back home and ready to start building me another race car. kelyd13
Hey Mona, Happy New Year to you and Wes. So what are your racing plans for this year? I'm in the process of transfering back to S.A. and plan on playing with the Roadrunners and thought you'd be doing the same. Don't forget to post some pictures of your trip to Mexico. Stay safe. Mona
Kelly, I was planning on going and playing with the roadrunners, but my husband sold my car. I am trying to find another one that just needs a motor and transmission. My husband thought he was doing the right thing. He said he was building a sportsman car for us to share. I told him that I did not want to run with sportsman. I guess we will see what happens. I have to do my car on my own, that's why I need one that is pretty much ready to go, that is affordable. debwill
Mona, It was great to get those e-mails from you while you were in Mexico. Special people like you make a difference. Since you said you were interested in buying a SAS RR, there's one listed in the classified section of TSZ. I think it already has a motor, though. I'm glad to hear you'll be back at SAS this year! Guest bigfat
Mona, If you go to the classifieds there is a guy selling one pretty cheap. Needs a little work but has the motor and tranny.
