Crazyhorse
i want to thank some people since we werenot given the oppurtunity to do so last night (you know 2nd class to the headliners kinda thing).......... my grandfather is by far the backbone of our family's racing and i'm honored to have his name plastered on my 1/4 panels...words could not express what this man means to me....thanks for the chance papa. my mother for being the best damn spotter a guy could ever have....trust me she's the best and she isn't for hire. my dad for lugging us around the state and putting his schedule aside to be apart of this- my step mother for all the groceries to feed us and the tireless hours on the shirts and fliers....my sisters , lindsay and leslie for all the support.....my step dad for all the advice and ass kicking motivation , not to mention finding time in his schedule as well to help me with set ups from time to time..... thomas- you are a brother to me and you put so much emotion into this that after a race it's hard to tell which one of us was driving the truck dale, kenneth and doug thanks for all you do....you guys helped make this the funnest season i think i've ever had..... 'pony boy' what can i say? you are still the man and i look up to my little brother.... my wife- thank you for loving this sport as much as i do.....through the good and the bad you've been my toughest critic and my never ending support.....i've been graced to find some one like you...... last, i want to dedicate this to an angel...... you were there through cold nights and hot afternoons.....you could get so frustrated with me and my temper and never waiver from being beside me....you would never miss a race......and somewhere, somehow you still won't.....you are never more than a whisper away and always right beside me , i love you......papa is the backbone and you are the heart.....i hope we made you proud. - thanX again everybody shawn paul

GB77
CRAZYHORSE - WHAT A CLASS ACT!.... Now I understand just why I hjave followed the truck series this past year. It's not just the Horse, it is all those who have raced that series. Good, clean racing, sportsmanship, and a guidance for our children. For this reason, this year has been a year of the fans, along with our little ones, to look UP to these truck drivers and their teams. It has definately been a true blessing for the sport. (Crazyhorse - I am still waiting to intro one of my sons to your lil' sister! Great kid - better keep her close to ya down in those pits!!). Mr. Dickerson, thanks for guiding these "heroes" (no matter which one you were rooting for) into this type of class acts! Main reason I take my kids to the USRA Truck productions! You da man too! To all the USRA truck drivers, their teams, families, and the series' officials, thanks from me.....and my two sons. I just left a family member that lost his wife to a 3 year battle with B-cancer. That was one long weekend - but to come back and see someone like Crazyhorse thanking his family, crew, friends, and his "angel". It truly brought tears to this man's eyes as I read his post. I was a proud part of my brother's race team until I moved to Texas. When his wife became too ill and too tired to go to the races, she motivated him from home by tirelesly supporting his love of the race. Yesterday, at her funeral, her daughter read a letter she left for him, her ane his 2 boys. It was about the love she had of him, her boys, her family, and her family of racing. She asked him to race again, apologizing fro not being able to be there, but that he needed to follow his dream and listen closely for her love and support through the sounds of the engines and cheers - she would make sure her love would be heard and seen through them. Not suprising, he told us before he left he was having his car painted with the pink ribbons in support of "his angel". THIS is what racing is all about - the love and support of the people behind you. These two race families definately are lucky enough to have this. Crazyhorse, you are just as lucky as him having a family (which I've been told is your whole crew!!!) . The respect from your fans, your opponants, and your friends should mean alot as you stated. Happy to see a man with your caliber win a championship. We know you will carry the title with the dedication and respect youu have shown this past year in and out of that 28 truck that I along with many fans in the stands have watched. Crazyhorse, keep your dreams going around the track, and listen to that "Angel" and the loved ones that support you - there is a whole section of race angels up there - keep your family close and your head high - you have the class a champion is buildt of. Sorry about the emotional reply, but it seems this whole weekend (full moon and all) has been an emotional one ..... Crazyhorse is a fine young man with a fine gentle "hero" status to us and our children. Thanks and God Bless you all.
