Johnson takes early command but Carlucci and Beaver in hot pursuit. Chamberlain and Gaither round out top 5. Chamberlain, Castaneda, Alexander and Dinsmore get tangled up in 4. Johnson, Beaver, Carlucci, Gauthier, and Torres top 5 early.

Beaver, Carlucci, and Gauthier bounce off each other out of 4 and Beaver goes around, Carlucci pulls off with front end damage. Johnson, Beaver, Gauthier, A. Torres and Chamberlain top 5, 7 laps in.

Gauthier uses the high side to take the lead, Chamberlain storming back up to 2nd, now Temple takes 3rd and then 2nd. Caution out as Preston gets spun by Doty in 1. Gauthier, Temple, Chamberlain, Johnson, Beaver top 5 halfway.

Oakes and Maupin split Wilkerson as caution flies with contact between Butcher and Flanagan in 3. Maupin, Oakes, Wilkerson,  Beddoe and Buckmeyer top 5 with 1 lap complete.

Shoot guys it aint cold out there .. i was up at 530 am saturday morning  went got me a taco dress for summer ..t shirt short sleeve   felt great .. momma told me i should have been born in alaska i said maybe the stork drop me too soon  i suppose it was why i worked night shift on drilling rigs for so many years  .. i dont even own a coat just a wind breaker  .. i figure its free ac and why waste it .  nick is from the snow country he should be ok with this weather ..

May I remind you, I'm usually wet while at work too. I like cold, I don't mind wet, but not together add in it was 4 days of making sewer repairs in 40 degree weather. I know the oil field guys are probably laughing at this though. It always seems like the track is at least ten degrees cooler than it is in the city.
