And towards the end of the season, there were several Late Model Stock teams who were thinking aloud about favoritism in that class. I was not involved in the track management under the Howell era, so I have no idea about how tech was conducted or how the races were called on the track radio. But... whenever any race track management or series management has close relatives racing at their track or series - even if there is not even a hint of favoritism - there certainly is the appearance of it.
