NickHolt Posted October 23, 2019 Report Share Posted October 23, 2019 Here is the format for the Aaron Hudgeons Memorial next weekend October 24th-26th Thursday Night – October 24th: Practice Night Gates open at 5:00pmPractice runs from 6:00pm – 11:00pm Concession Stand open from 5:00pm – 9:00pm $20 pit pass, General Admission Free Friday Night – October 25th: Gates open at 4:00pm Go-Kart Heats and Features at 6:30pm Draw ends at 7:00pm Driver’s Meeting – 7:15pm Hot Laps immediately following the driver’s meeting Races Start – 8:00pm General Admission - $12.50 adults, $10.00 seniors and military, $6.00 Kids 6-12, 5 and under free Pit Passes - $35 Driver Entry - $75 entry. Drivers pay one time $75 entry fee plus a pit pass for each day. Heat Races – 10 Laps (line up by draw) Street Stocks Factory Stocks Limited Modifieds *Top 2 from each heat will go to “A-Qualifier” remaining cars to “B-Main”* B-Mains – 15 Laps Street Stocks (if needed) Factory Stocks (2 B-mains if needed) Limited Modifieds (2 B-mains if needed) *Number of cars transferring out of the B-mains to the A-qualifier will be determined based on car count.* A-Qualifier – 20 Laps Street Stocks (top 4 locked into Saturday A-Main) Factory Stocks Limited Modifieds *Top 8 drivers per class will advance to Saturday Night A-Main. All others will have to race their way in Saturday.* Saturday Night – October 26th: Gates open at 4:00pm Go-Kart Heats and Features at 5:30pm Draw ends at 6:00pm Driver’s Meeting – 6:15pm Hot Laps immediately following the driver’s meeting Races Start – 7:00pm General Admission - $20 adults, $15.00 seniors and military, $10.00 Kids 6-12, 5 and under free Pit Passes - $35 Driver Entry - $75 entry. Auction will be done during intermission along with the scholarship presentation. To provide the greatest racing action and opportunity for everyone to qualify as well as minimize equipment damage, we’ve decided to make the following race format adjustment for this weekend: Friday Night - Heat Races Everyone will run two (2) – 10 lap heat races on Friday Night. Heat races will be lined up by draw, each driver will draw 2 pills for heat race starting positions. 1st pill will be drawn out of a pool containing 200 numbers. The second pill will come out of either a high bucket or low bucket depending on the 1st number drawn. If your 1st pill was between 1-100 you draw the 2nd pill out of the high bucket, if your 1st pill was between 101-200 your second pill will be drawn out of the low bucket. The low number bucket will contain numbers between 1-100, the high bucket will contain numbers from 101-200. Points will be applied to each heat race finishing position including passing points. The top 8 in points after the heat will go to the Pole Dash and are qualified for the Saturday Night A-Main. The remaining cars will be lined up in a series of B-mains based on points with high point in the front. arob Posted October 25, 2019 Report Share Posted October 25, 2019 (edited) Saturday Night B-mains - 15 laps – Top 8 transfer to the A-Main (Factory Stock and Limited Modified) B-mains will be lined up by points from the heat races. High Point not qualifying for the Pole Dash will be on pole for B-main. Pole Dash will be lined up by a redraw that will take place on the front straightaway. A-Feature – 25 laps - will be lined up based on Dash finish then B-Main behind the top 8.
