Chase Night 1

Tonight Mark's the first of the Final Four Chase Nights for the Limited Late Models, EMods, Pure Stocks and Limited Modifieds. Also on the slate, running an old school, heads up approach to the championship are the Bombers. Should be an exciting night, not only for the Chase drivers but the rest running for pride, money, and trophies and to establish themselves as threats for next year or spoilers for this year. 

I have no contact with track officials, results are Unofficial until posted by track and commentary is based on my observations from the stands.

Okruhlik with a big jump. Arce spins out of four but green stays out as he was in the infield. Not a good night for him in the points chase. Awalt and Fox battling hard for 2nd, Marcx alone in fourth, Stephens half a straight behind in 5th. Okruhlik already coming up to lap 5th.

Halfway through and Okruhlik is half a lap away from lapping the field. Just lapped 3rd.

Stephens pulls off relinquishing 4th, Okruhlik trying to lap 3rd place with 2 to go.

D. Witzsche using the high line to take the early lead but Perez hanging tough on the inside. Yellow out as B. Witzsche gets turned around in 4, McWhorter to the rear. D. Witzsche, Perez, Rachui, B. Witzsche and Laven top 5 two laps in.
