By Don Cook Blogginisracin.com Heart O Texas Speedway (Elm, Mott, TX) July 12 (Friday) Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, hosted the Melling Performance Race Weekends Across America - MDA Muscling in the Dirt event! The featured class this week was the return of the 360 c.i. Winged Sprint Car Bandits (SCB). Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, made it two HOT Sprint Car Bandits feature wins this season! Along with the Sprints, were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Limiteds. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night below: Sprint Car Bandits Feature Winner: Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, celebrated his birthday this week by picking up his second Sprint Car Bandits feature win of the season at Heart O Texas Speedway! Claud Estes III, No. 74e, had a solid second, Jeff Emerson, No. 35, settled for third, Jeremy Jones, No. 5j, was fourth and Daniel Estes, No. 72, was fifth. Blake Mallory, Junior Jenkins, Reagan Reed, Micah Baccus, and Kodey Keimig, rounded out the top ten. Dale Wester, Dalton Stevens, Colby Estes, William Eggimann, Scott Evans, Mark Zoeller, rounded out the field. Seventeen cars started the feature. Claud Estes III, No. 74e, had a strong run for second. Jeff Emerson, No. 35, had a top three finish. Chris Elliott, No. 915, was second, Kevin Green, No. 5, was third, David Goode Jr., No. 7g, was fourth and G.W. Egbert IV, No. 717, was fifth. Dwayne Grantham, Jeffrey Abbey, Dillion Tindall, Donald Banker, and Derek Scott Jr., rounded out the top ten. Eric Tomlinson, Cody Daniel, Joe Maple, Brent Gilliam, Jason Kingrey, Ricky Kizer, Raymond McFadden, Chris Morris, and William Gould rounded out the field. Nineteen cars started the feature. Trevor Egbert, Bobby Mercer, Westin Abbey, Gregory Muirhead, and Austin Moore, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.
