Very sad news out of San Antonio.  We get word that Richard Villaneueva has passed away either last night or this morning.

Richard ran Creswell's Wrecker Service  and his tow trucks were fixtures at both Pan American Speedway and San Antonio Speedway for years and years.

He was a very generous man and a true racer and sponsored area racers including Kenny Neal, Beaver Stelzig, Greg Romer, Joe Aramendia, Carolyn Aramendia and many others.

Anybody with any information about Richard, please post it in this thread.

Nick

Upon reading Nick’s post I was saddened to learn that that Richard Villanueva recently passed away. I extend our sincere sympathies to Richard’s wife Bea Villanueva.

Yes, he was a very generous man and a true racer. He did sponsor several area racers which also included the TIDA Late Model Series and the Texas Pro Sedans.
