Shirley, of Chatham, IL, narrowly edged Heckenast in the 50-lap Feature to pocket $10,000 and extend his lead in the overall championship as he attempts to capture his third Summer Nationals crown.

In the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Feature, Mike Harrison rolled the top while Nick Hoffman kept pace on the bottom as the two raced side-by-side before Harrison edged ahead just enough to take the checkered flag, his first win on the tour this season.

Six-time Series champion Harrison, of Highland, IL, also became the fourth different winner through four events on this season’s Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals campaign. It was the 528th win of his career dating back to 1995.
