It blossomed when riders would compete on dirt at county fair horse race tracks. This dare-devil extreme sport became known as Flat Track racing. As public road compositions changed to hard surfaces, the leisurely drive down twisting country roads grew into road racing. The American Motorcycle Association, formed in 1924, is still going strong and sanctions all types of motorcycle racing. The Racers Reunion Banquet will bring you stories of AMA Grand National competition which include triumphs and tragedies.
