Trailing until the final laps, the cards turned Edwards' way as Channin Tankersley, and Wayne Johnson came to a stop. Positioning Martin to the front of the pack for the restart, the Mesquite, Texas racer staved off Robbie Price for the triumph with Tucker Doughty coming from seventh to finish third. Channin Tankersley and Wayne Johnson ended up completing the top five.

Dale Wester sixth had Tommy Hall in tow. Willie Reed, John Sweeney, and Cody Stacy made up the top ten.

The Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region hits the track again on Saturday, April 20 at Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, La.

Finally back in Port A from last night's race in Texana.  Special thanks to Bryan & Nick for the ASCS recap ... and Top Shelf for the heat/main updates.

Also ... a huge shout-out to all that attended last night's show!  That was the windiest & coldest night of racing I've ever endured.  Only die-hard race fans could be expected to hang with that.  We started with a super-strong front gate ... but the harsh conditions thinned out the herd considerably by intermission.

At any rate, I'll post the complete results when I get them from Rachel.

Thanks y'all, enjoy your Sunday!

I can attest to the wind-chill. I won't say that was the coldest I've been at a race, but it was certainly a contender for the title! I left a little after midnight, during the yellow in the Modified feature. At that point, there were only three people (including me) in the section of stands I was in.
