From the Ownership, Promoter and Staff at Heart O' Texas Speedway we would like to thank everyone that competed and worked so hard to make the Fall Classic event successful.

We started the weekend out behind the eight ball with mother nature throwing us another curve ball and continued to work through the weekend to make the racing surface the best that it could be. I know there were unexpected delays that we couldn't for see and we truly apologize for that.

This event has always been a large event for the speedway but this years event with 292 cars from 17 different states and the caliber of drivers from across the country we had to do everything that we possibly could to provide them with the best racing surface that we could. Friday night we made the decision to halt the racing due to deteriorating track conditions and start early on Saturday. The track crew spent countless hours packing and working the track on Saturday and we had a surface that we could race on.

With the racing action kicking back off on Saturday the racing surface held together good for most of the night and during our trick or treat intermission the track crew made the decision to worked the track again. Once again these were not planned delays and added to the nights long program. The remainder of the night and early morning went off as well as possible and the racing action was truly worth the wait but the long hours into the night were an issue that we just couldn't avoid. We are truly sorry for late night and we will work to trim this event down to eliminate the long hours and still provide the best racing action possible that we are known for.

Once again we want to thank everyone that had a part or hand in making this event possible and we want to extend our congratulations to all of the winners. We will be working on our 2019 Schedule over the next few weeks and will see everyone on December 3rd at the Texas Racers Auction and Trade show in Dallas.
