Heart O Texas Speedway hosts the 21st Annual Fall Classic this Thursday - Saturday Oct. 25 - 27!

The 21st Annual Fall Classic Update. Heart O Texas Speedway has gotten a break from Mother Nature and the track and facility is in good shape for this coming weekend. HOT will begin packing hard the pits tomorrow and working the track to make it the best racing surface possible. We do have forecast rain for Wednesday only and we should be in good shape for the weekend. We have been in contact with Barry Braun with IMCA TV and there may be a slight change on the date for the dirt dominator. It will still be run this weekend but we may shift it to the beginning of the show on Saturday. Once a final decision is made we will update everyone. With that being said... fill those haulers and point your vehicles to the Heart O’ Texas Speedway this weekend for the 21st Annual Fall Classic and 3rd Annual Texas Dwarf Car Nationals!

In short Heart O Texas Speedway is a GO for this coming weekend.

Hope to see everyone at the track!

Also don’t forget we will be trick or treating with the kids during intermission on Saturday night so bring some candy or hero cards to give away!

Wednesday evening update
The track did receive some rain today and the pits are a little wet. We will be moving practice to Friday afternoon. We will let the pits dry up some tomorrow prior to letting anyone in. The track was packed hard last night so it should be in good shape.
We will post when we will open the pits for parking.

Current. Plan is to have a practice session. From about noon till three on Friday then Shut it down to give the crew time to work the track for ...Friday Night Qualifying. Dirt Dominator is still scheduled to be run at the beginning of the show on Saturday. The forecast for the Remainder of the week and weekend is great.
Once again thank everyone that has come together to make this event possible And we will do everything in our power to give you the best facility and track possible.

Hope to see everyone at the Speedway this weekend.

Any drivers coming in from out of town can park at the Geneva Hall that is about 1/2 mile south of the speedway exit 342B. This is the venue that we hold our banquet at and they have graciously allowed anyone to park there tomorrow till we open up the pits for parking. Also the road ranger truck stop about a mile south of the track had plenty of parking in the back as well. They have two good food options as well. Just wanted to give everyone an update if they get to town and we haven’t opened the pits yet.

Now we hope for no more rain.  also lots of sun and wind to dry out the pits.

Thursday afternoon post. The clouds have finally broke and the sun has come out. We are tilling the pits to speed up the drying time and will let it sit for a few hours before packing it in. We will not let anyone park till we have it packed in good so we don’t have any issues over the weekend. The earliest we would start letting rigs in would be late tonight but for sure we will be letting all rigs in a 8:00am tomorrow morning. Practice is still on schedule for noon to three on Friday as well.

If we feel it is hard enough later this afternoon or evening we will update everyone.

You're welcome Nick

Thursday night update. We worked the pits all day tilling it and letting it dry and packing it in. Most of the roads are good we got two areas that still had a lot of moisture so we stopped working on it to let it sit and with the full sun forecasted for tomorrow it should be in good shape. We did not allow any rigs in as some of the grass area needed some time to dry out. We will see everyone tomorrow for the opening day of the fall classic.
