Del is building an awesome new RV park called Indian Creek Reservation in the Huntsville area. The park is coming together very well and he hopes to have it all set up and ready for business in the spring of 2019. It is located between Huntsville and Madisonville on Interstate 45 North at F.M. 2989, at Exit 132. Here are the plans he drew up before the project got under way in May. Of course, there are engineering plans for all the permits, etc, but you get an idea for the large scope of the place. Here are some pics of Del's ongoing work on the site. Obviously, it's a country setting with beautiful scenery with plans for a store, washateria, bathrooms with showers, walking trails, a pond and a small lake stock with fish. All the spaces will be concrete with a 10 x 20 porch for awnings. Future plans call for office spaces and a pavilion. The first 25 spaces have already been leased even before completion. Del Harris Posted October 3, 2018 Report Share Posted October 3, 2018 Hi all of My Racing Family, I miss seeing Y'all at the Tracks, I've been just a Little Busy working on the RV Park, trying to get it ready for Spring 2019. Between the Permits and Rain, Rain, and more Rain, HaHaHa, just a few Stumbling Blocks. Nothing that with a little Prayer won't stop Us, I know that Racing Season has had it's times with the Weather also, if You can't go Racing, You can Always go Camping, hopefully soon I will see Y'all at My Park. I am looking at Accommodations to make the Park a Fun and Enjoyable Place to bring Your Family and Friends. All of the Spaces will be 30 feet wide and 40, 60, and 80 feet long with some Drive-Throughs. I don't want Everyone Stacked on top of each other. Nice Country Setting, Beautiful Sunsets with Tree's, Pond, Small Lake, Restrooms with Showers, Parks and Walking Trails.
