AOC Auto Parts/ASCS Night 1

Packing and hot laps about to get started, stands already about half full. Pits lock pretty good. Limited Late Models/Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Limited Modified, EMod, and of course, the ASCS Gulf South Region 360 Sprints. Once again, results are unofficial and based on my observations with no contact with track officials during the event.

Fox out to early lead but F. Vannoy and P. Arce trying to keep pace. J. Kelly up to 4th, Awalt 5th. Vannoy's good run ends with a flat right rear. Vannoy tries to get off on front stretch right in front of D. Farquer. Farquer rejoins the field. Fox, Arce, Kelly, Awalt and B. Stephens top 5, 5 laps in.

Fox way out front on the restart, Kelly and Arce battling hard for 2nd. Fox loses power on the backstretch and Kelly takes the lead as Arce had to slow up to avoid hitting Fox. Fox stays on the track and brings out caution.

Arce sweeping the track but H. Marcx and B. Stephens gets by. Arce to the infield. Awalt trying to catch Kelly. Marcx. Stephens and G. Hunter top 5.

Parks out front early, A. Torres on his bumper as Z. Courtney holds off S. Ward. C. Brodnax holding on for 5th. Torres all over Parks but not enough to get around as leaders are in traffic 5 laps in.

D. Preston spins in two bringing out a caution,  Courtney to pits with a flat. Top 5 near halfway is Parks, Torres, Ward, Brodnax and R. Danielsen.
