NickHolt Posted July 22, 2018 Report Share Posted July 22, 2018 Channin Tankersley Wins With ASCS Gulf South At Battleground Speedway by bryan hulbert HIGHLANDS, Texas (July 21, 2018) Taking his 22nd career win with the Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region, Channin Tankersley topped the field on Saturday night at Battleground Speedway in his hometown in Highlands, Texas. Winning from sixth, Tankersley was joined on the podium by Koty Adams and Larry Howery, giving Adams his second podium finish in as many trips Battleground Speedway and Howery his first of the season. Cody Stacy and Danny Burke, who started ninth, made up the top-five. Cody Karl slipped from the front row to sixth. Tommy Hall moved to seventh from 10th with Harry Yerrington eighth. Bruce Crockett and Johnnie Wasson made up the top-ten. Taking in two nights at South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi, the Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region returns to action on September 1 and 2.
