Kilgore, TX (06/22/18) - The “LoneStar Championship” is a special series of high paying purse nights held for each of LoneStar Speedway’s (LSS) points divisions, held one at a time, throughout the season. OnSaturday, July 14th, it will continue with the third of four series events, with the running of the LoneStar Limited Modified Championships – paying a whopping $2,000 to win and $150 just to start the 25-lap feature event. Joining the LoneStar divisions will be the annual LSS appearance of the Southern Topless Modified series (STEM), with a complete program of heats and championship feature. 

In addition, Modifieds, Factory Stocks & FWD 4-Cylinders are all competing for excellent purse money and points. All posted track rules will be in effect and are posted at the track website under ‘team portal.’ The STEM series will receive series points and a bumped-up series purse. There’s no entry fee, draw fee or license fee due! This will be a full points event for all divisions. 

The final 2018 LoneStar Championship event is coming on August 18th, when the $1,500/win and $100/start LoneStar Factory Stock Championships will take centre stage…details at the track website.

BACK TO JULY 14th…you and the family will be able to take in this action-packed event for just $15 adult (ages 12-64) general admission! Ages 6-11 are just $5, while Seniors/Military GA pricing is $12. All pit passes for all ages are $35. Any grandstand ticket can be upgraded to the Reserved Section with bucket seats for $5 per ticket. 

FAMILY-SIZED BONUS! We’re continuing our popular FAMILY PASS for this event, where two adults plus up to FOUR kids (ages 11 and under) can get in for just $30 (the price of two adult tickets)…a savings of potentially $20!

All the LoneStar Speedway racing divisions will all be racing for excellent purse money: Modifieds will be racing for $1,200 to win, the Limited Modified winner will take home $2,000; while the first Factory Stock to cross the checkers will receive $500, as will the STEM series feature winner. The FWD 4-Cylinders will round out the 5-division racing card, racing for $200 to win. MODIFIED FEATURE PAYBACK: $1,200 - $600 - $450 - $350 - $250 - $200 - $180 - $160 - $140 - $120 (10th) - $100...to 20th. All Modified NQ's or Non-Starters $50. Transponders and RACEceivers are required. 

FACTORY STOCK FEATURE PAYBACK: $500 - $300 - $200 - $180 - $160 (5th) - $140 - $120 - $100 - $80 - $80 - $60 - $40...to 20th. All Factory Stock NQ's or Non-Starters $20. Transponders and RACEceivers are required.

LIMITED MODIFIED CHAMPIONSHIP FEATURE PAYBACK – 25 LAPS: $2,000 - $1,000 - $600 - $500 - $400 - $300 -$200 - $180 - $170 - $160 - $150...to 20th. All Limited Modified NQ's or Non-Starters $30. Transponders and RACEceivers are required.

No outside food/drink allowed through ticket gate. Great food and drinks available at family-affordable pricing, for example, bottled water and soft drinks are available starting at $1.50. Adult beverages for sale next to main concession stand. 

The Pit Area on July 14th will open by 4:30pm (teams can arrive earlier, if desired, but we'll clear out pits just prior to opening), Grandstands open at 6pm, Draw Cut-off 6:30pm, Pit Meeting 6:45pm, then Track Packing/Hot Laps...with racing to follow immediately. Races should fire off by 8pm. (This is a ‘Summer Hours’ event.) 

Grandstand admission: Ages 5 and under are free (with adult admission), Ages 6-11 are just $5, and Ages 12-64 are $15. Seniors/Military $12. You can upgrade any grandstand admission ticket to the reserved section (bucket seats) for $5/ticket upon your entrance to the reserved section. All Pit Passes all ages are $35. The popular LoneStar ‘Family Pack’ of tickets is available for this event and is $30. It includes two adult GA tickets, plus up to four kids (ages 11 and under) for free – a savings of up to $20!
