360 C.I. SPRINT CAR RACING RETURNS to KENNEDALE SPEEDWAY PARK for the FIRST TIME IN YEARS – JUNE 23rd

Kennedale, TX (06/01/18) - The stars will align over Kennedale Speedway Park on Saturday June 23rd, as the long-awaited return of 360 C.I. winged sprint car racing featuring the NCRA Sprint Car Bandits series will take on the ¼ mile speed plant.

Track Promoter Tony Dycus comments: “We’ve been wanting to host a 360 C.I. sprint car race for quite some time, because we have lots of fans that enjoy them, and there are many sprint drivers in this region that want a chance to race here. The Sprint Car Bandits series has the right mix of rules and purse structure, which translates into keeping ticket pricing affordable to our fans, while still maintaining a high quality sprint car racing event. Adults can get in to see this full-purse, $2,000 to win and $300 to start event for just $16.”

Pit Gates open at 4pm on race day, Saturday June 23rd, with racing at 7pm. Grandstands open at 5pm. KSP divisions will round out the very full night of racing, including IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory and Jr. Mini-Stock classes. The SCB are slated to run 2nd or 3rd division out. The night will wrap up with a full-size car Demo Derby.

Kennedale Speedway Park (KSP) is located at 6727 Hudson Village Creek Kennedale, TX 76060. Click www.raceKSP.com for complete track details. You can also email raceKSP@yahoo.com or Track Promoter Tony Dycus at Tony.Dycus@yahoo.com if you need additional information. You can also search ‘Kennedale Speedway Park’ on Facebook for the very latest in track updates, pictures and much more.

Standard SCB posted rules are in effect. No entry fee or series membership fee; $15 draw-in fee. Sprint car teams not familiar with SCB series rules or structures should go to www.SprintCarBandits.com prior to arrival for complete rules and procedures information, so their car is ready for action when they arrive at the track on race day.

Sprint Car Bandits 25-lap A-feature purse for Kennedale Speedway Park: $2,000 - $1,000 - $600 - $500 - $400 - $390 - $380 - $370 - $360 - $350 (10th) - $340 - $330 - $320 - $310 - $300…to 20th. All non-qualifiers or non-starters receive $100. Mufflers, RACEceivers and transponders required. Track rentals are available.

Note all sprint car teams that sign in will draw for heat race starting positions, regardless of their engine C.I. displacement (360 or under) and will receive passing points to determine their straight-up from points feature race starting position. All SCB legal teams will compete for the same posted purse regardless of C.I. displacement (360 or under).

The SCB series has a unique rules package that allows teams to use their current equipment (especially in the engine compartment) yet curbing nightly tire expense...which helps equalize the competition, with teams of varying budget sizes. That rules package certainly has the vote of many of the drivers in the region, as over 70 have competed in the series already in 2018!

We also highly encourage drivers that have yet to compete in our series to visit with any of the teams that have. It takes just minutes to make a typical winged sprint car SCB rules compliant.
