It's Logan Seavey At Lucas Oil Speedway in ASCS Red River/Warrior Competition

Bryan Hulbert - WHEATLAND, Mo. (May 5, 2018) Running double-duty in the Impact Signs Open Wheel Showdown at Lucas Oil Speedway, Logan Seavey picked up his first career victory in ASCS competition and did it by leading every lap of Saturday's 25-lap A-Feature in the Cooper Motorsports No. 01.
Counting towards both the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region and Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region, Seavey also posted a runner-up finish in Lucas Oil POWRi Midget competition for Keith Kunz Motorsports.

Absent from a Winged Sprint Car in nearly two years, Seavey took the green from the pole. Red on Lap 7 for Mason Daniel and Evan Martin, the race went green until Lap 14 where a caution wiped away a comfortable advantage. Slowed for the final time on Lap 21, no one proved up to the challenge of beating the California shoe.
Nick Howard rolled across the line second with Taylor Walton third. Alex Sewell and Mile Paulus made up the top-five. Tony Bruce, Jr. grabbed sixth with Tyler Thomas advancing 10 positions to claim seventh. Jonathan Cornell, Sean McClelland, and Austin Alumbaugh completed the top-ten.
The Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region returns to action with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by Sawblade.com at Lakeside Speedway on Thursday, May 10. The American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region is back on track at Creek County Speedway on Friday, May 18.
