arob Posted May 7, 2018 Report Share Posted May 7, 2018 What a fun night at I-37 on May 5. Very competitive and close racing and a GREAT STLMS feature ! Great drives by Mike Trigg and Broc Bowen racing from the back of the pack to first and second place finishes respectively. After Whiteaker dropped out after scorching the rest of the field for 2/3 of the race a terrific three car battle between Brzozowski , Starnes and Leonard resulting is Starnes going from 3rd to first on the last lap. Now it is on to Texana Raceway Park May 12 for some big payouts. The last I saw $1150 for first in Pure Stocks, $1000 for Sportmods , $800 for Modlites and $900 for Street Stock ought to make for some intense racing that is not to be missed! Things looking great for South Texas racefans with great things going on at I-37 , Texana Raceway Park and South Texas Speedway every race date!
