Texas Asphalt Racing Series 2018 Pro Late Model/Outlaw Press Release January 30, 2018

The Texas Asphalt Racing Series promoted by Raymond Delahoussaye and managed by Amy and Aaron Hogan has released the 2018 Pro Late Model/Outlaw rules for Houston Motorsports Park.  In the interest of competition we have adopted the 5 Flags Speedway Outlaw rules for Pro Late Models and Outlaws to run in competition together at Houston Motorsports Park. We will be posting the rules to the TARS website shortly. If you have any questions please contact Raymond Delahoussaye at (713) 545-2070.

Any businesses interested in series sponsorship of the Texas Asphalt Racing Series can contact Amy Hogan at amy@texasasphaltracingseries.com.

Rules can be found at http://users.neo.registeredsite.com/0/8/7/18994780/assets/2018_Outlaw_Rules98104.pdf

No, 602 and 604 Crates can run the 650 4-Barrel Carburetor and all the Open Motor Options must run the Holley 4412. This is the same rules as 5 Flags Speedway. With the weight options between the different engine combinations it is very fair. Lots of cars at the Snowball Derby ran 602 Crates on a 1/2 mile and were competitive.
