HiTech
wonder how those cars would stack up to todays cars .....I see no window nets fire suits .....I remember racing with no fire suit just fire protected coveralls from work .. RodneyRodriguez
Love those.. 1982 I was a young buck that never missed a race at Austin Speed-O-Rama and was luck enough to get to make the occasional trip to HWY 16 Raceway. Pretty awesome asphalt late models back then too and very stock looking street and thunder stocks. Thanks Richard damn glad those memories live! JamesHigdon
I’m not old enough to have seen those cars growing up but whenever I get some rare free time I try and catch some vintage racing on YouTube; the Wedge cars are some of the best to spend time watching! I just remember the early 90s when the last of the Wedge-Style asphalt cars where going away and turning to the boxier Luminas and T-Birds of the mid 90s.
