TRP
As many of you know, we had various damage, including some damage to the sound system at the track, due to Hurricane Harvey. We regrouped and prepared to race last Saturday, September 23rd with the sound system as is. However, then it rained and knocked us out of racing on September 23rd. After significant consideration, track operator Tony Blankenship has decided to call it a season for 2017. We will not be scheduling any more races for this calendar year. Mr. Blankenship extends his sincere appreciation to all fans, race teams and staff for getting on board and supporting the 2017 season. Thank you all for helping to Make Texana Great Again this year and good luck to all teams who chase some of the big shows during the remainder of this year. NickHolt
It takes a LOT of effort and a LOT of resources to bring a track back to life after sitting silent for a while... Tony and his crew deserve a ton of credit for undertaking this project. The weather could have cooperated a LOT better, but it is what it is and all we can do is move on to next season. Feel free to use the forums to keep us all informed as next season is being mapped out.. Nick
