Nathan Posted August 31, 2017 Report Share Posted August 31, 2017 Release from Cotton Bowl owner / management Quote Due to the recent floods and disaster in the area and surrounding areas we are going to cancel the race for 9/2/17. There are so many people without homes and so many that are still flooded in. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone that has been affected by these events. I want to personally thank all the Police, Fire, EMS, First responders, military and all the people that have just come out to help. Many of our racers have come out and are helping with the rescue efforts(ya'll rock). Cloys and Scott have been working long hours helping and will be out this weekend helping with cleanup as well.
