May he rest in peace. The Kelly brothers, including Pat, played a huge role in the history of San Antonio stock car racing and will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. Here is the obituary that was published in the Express-News today Leonard "Pat" Kelly, St, - August 31, 1941 - August 6, 2017 Leonard "Pat" Kelly Sr., was born August 31, 1941 and went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2017 at the age of 75. He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard Hill Kelly and Otelia Hoffman, sisters Julia "Judy" Kelly Hilburn (Bob) and Nancy Rose Kelly. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Barba Kelly, daughter, Debra Kelly (Jackie Mayer), son, Leonard Patrick Kelly Jr (Michelle), brothers, Robert Kelly Sr., John Kelly Sr., (Peggy), Frank Kelly (Sondra), grandchildren, Rusty Badillo (Roxanne), Salina Badillo, great grandchildren, Logan, Ryder and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pat graduated from Southside High School, Class of 1960. He was a gifted machinist, carpenter, upholsterer, race car driver, fisherman, confidant, comedian, collector, an all-around "MacGyver" but he was an especially loving and caring Husband and Daddy! Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Mission Park South from 5-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Mission Park South Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11am followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Flatonia, Texas.
