RodneyRodriguez Posted May 31, 2017 Report Share Posted May 31, 2017 The Dwarf Car Race Series of Texas gets back to business kicking off the Summer Race Tour Saturday June 3rd at Cotton Bowl Speedway. DCRST will be on the race bill with the ASCS Sprint cars in what promises to be one of the best shows in Texas as the racing season creeps towards the mid season point. This event was added and CBS promoter Scott Stubbs worked with ASCS officials to help work DCRST in on the program along with the local divisions that keep the CBS fans entertained regularly. “Scott and his staff at CBS have been nothing but top notch putting this show together, as a race fan I cannot wait to see it” added DCRST manager Rodney Rodriguez. DCRST will bring 20-25 teams to the pits at Cotton Bowl and the drivers have embraced the new relationship with the Paige, TX facility regarded as one of the finest in Texas. The down home feel and response from the management and fans of CBS has been most appreciated by the DCRST teams. Gates open at 5:30pm with race action at 7pm additional race information is available at www.CottonBowlSpeedway.com this will be the debut and only 2017 appearance for the ASCS Gulf South Region Sprint cars.
