NCRA Modified Division Back in Action This Saturday Night!

Park City, Kansas – May 22, 2017 - After getting the best of a 43-car field at the season opener back on April 15, former five-time series champion Brian Franz of Halstad, Kansas will lead the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified division into 81 Speedway in Park City this coming Saturday night, May 27, as part of an NCRA triple-header that will also feature the series crate late model and mod-lite divisions.

Franz held off former two-time series champions Marc Hurd and Dan Powers to pick up that feature victory and with this being the Memorial Day holiday weekend, a strong and large field of modifieds are again expected.

Drivers also expected to compete include Josh Lanterman, former champion Tyler Davis, Ryan McAninch, Kyler Kemp, Travis Johnson, Beau Davis, Corey Lagroon as well as rookie of the year contenders Joe Cleveland and Jon Herring, Jr.

Gates open at 5:00 PM with race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Adult grandstand admission tickets are just $15 for adults ages 12 and up, free for children ages 11 and under. 81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park City.
