Forecast Looks Good for Start of 2017 NCRA Late Model Season Saturday Night!

Park City, Kansas – May 22, 2017 – After schedule adjustments and disagreements with Mother Nature, the 34th season for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products late model division will look to finally kick off their 2017 season this coming Saturday night (May 27) at 81 Speedway in Park City. Weekend forecast looks for clear skies and 75 degree temps as the tour will join the series modified and mod-lite divisions atop the three-eighths mile clay oval.

Leading the crate late model “gladiators” into the night’s racing action will be two-time and defending tour champion Chris Kratzer. His quest for a “three-peat” will be tough as former tour champions Delbert Smith and Dan Smith will look to add yet another series championship to their resume.

Touring regulars also expected to compete include Dusty Leonard, Rob Day, Jimmy Segraves, last year’s rookie of the year Adam Popp, Jeremy Bishop, Robert Shepard, Duston Bolster, Brandon Conkwright, Jerry Covert and Kelly Kneisler.

Gates open at 5:00 PM with race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Adult grandstand admission is just $15 each night for adults ages 12 and up, free for children ages 11 and under. 81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then 0.7 mile west on 77th street in Park City.
