To the Texas area Super Stock Race Teams who are planning on competing at the July 8th TARS Race event at Houston Motorsports Park in Houston,Texas. they are asking all of the "Super Stock" race teams to contact them (TARS) of your plans to compete in that race event ASAP. they are saying on their Facebook page that they need to hear from you real soon, if not they may be forced to pull that division from the card. they do have the Super Stock class rules posted on their home page. for the most part the rules are the former CTS Super Street Stock rules package with some changes. the race tires for the Super Stocks for that event are the Hoosier R-750 race tires and are available thought the TARS web site Homepage/ contacts link. so all Super Stock race teams that are planning to compete at that July 8th race event at HMP and help support asphalt stock car racing in Texas, then please get on board and contact TARS race officials with out delay.

Thanks....

The only cars who say that they aren't showing up is the 40,24,15,49,14. On an average the super stock class had 20 cars to show up at CTS. So if those 5 cars do not show up you will still have 15 cars to show up. It just shows if the rules do not favor 40 car and his group that they are scared to race. Everyone needs to stop complaining about the rules, they are a fair set of rules now. Just show up and race. We have a place to race at again just be grateful for that.

May be a good idea and pre register as far as I can tell this is what will determine if this division is on the bill that weekend.

Was talking to a dude a few months back and he said 20 verbal commitments= maybe 10 in reality I think this is why they want registration.

I would think after the first race if there is something glaringly wrong, rules will be tweaked. At CTS fast time in the super stock got down to 15.7's. If you don't like these rules, you shouldn't have liked them at CTS. I pulled qualifying from one of the last races. From 5th on back, how much worse could it be?

There's not a doubt in my mind that there won't be less than 20 Super stocks racing. I've busting my tail to get mine together and we have our #55 going too....

Should we at least get a roll call started here? I don't deal with social media.
