USRA offers regional points funds, awards in 2017

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (April 14) -- The 2017 racing season will see some new champions and additional points funds and contingency awards available for drivers competing in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

USRA Modified, Holley USRA Stock Car, Out-Pace USRA B-Mod and USRA Hobby Stock drivers in five regions of the country will earn regional points in 2017 in addition to track and nationals points.

Other classes will be included in the regional program as they expand into other regions.

Drivers will earn points in each region they compete in, and points funds will be paid out at year's end in each region. Points earned in a region will be based on total nights raced, so the more you race the more points you earn.
