34th NCRA Late Model Season Kicks Off This Saturday Night!

Park City, Kansas – April 11, 2017 - Two-time and defending tour champion Chris Kratzer leads the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products crate late model division into 81 Speedway in Park City this coming Saturday night, April 15, as part of the tracks “Autism Awareness” night at the speedway.

This will be the 34th season for the series late model division, the longest tenured of any division the series has sanctioned since its inception back in 1971 and this year looks to see enthusiasm and car counts exceeding those from the past couple of seasons.

Veteran Delbert Smith looks to capture his first series championship since 2001 while Dusty Leonard, 2015 co-champion Dan Smith, Rob Day, Jimmy Segraves, Ryan Grit, Lyle Shepard, defending series rookie of the year Adam Popp and Jeremy Bishop all slating to compete.

Also, competing on the race card will be the series opener for the crate late models and mod-lite divisions as well as a special $500 to win event for the tracks regular Thumper division.

Attention race fans! Wear a BLUE SHIRT at this Saturday night, April 1, season opening event at the speedway and register to win a General Admission VIP Pass for the 2017 season to any program except the April 21-22 Park City Cup / Air Capital Shootout and the Saturday, May 6, World of Outlaw date. That’s 32 regular season race programs valued at more than $500.00!!!

Crew members, you can also “feel the love” on this special night. Wear a BLUE SHIRT and if your car wins the Championship Feature event in either the NCRA Late Model Series, NCRA Mod Lite Series or Thumper division, and take home an EXTRA $100.00 Bonus!! *Note: Minimum of (1) crew member wearing a BLUE SHIRT to be eligible.

Gates will open at 5:00 PM with race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Grandstand admission is just $15.00 for ages 12 and Up; 11 and under will be admitted for free to the Grandstand. Pit passes are just $30 for ages 12 and up and children eleven and under just $15.
