“Rock the Night Blue,” Three NCRA Divisions Kick off 2017 This Saturday Night!”

Park City, Kansas – April 10, 2017 - 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas will look to finally get the 2017 race season under way this coming Saturday night as the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products modified, late model and mod-lite divisions will also take to the track for the first time this year. The night will also be “Autism Awareness” night at the speedway and all fans, drivers and pit crew are encouraged to wear blue – and you would be rewarded for your participation.

The series modified division will be kicking off their 20th consecutive season with veteran Scott Green coming into the night as the reigning division champion. Over thirty drivers are expected in the modified division.

Back for their 34th year, the series crate late model series will also open their 2017 season at 81 Speedway and Chris Kratzer will come into the night as the two-time and defending tour champion. A solid field of twenty “gladiators” of the full-bodied late model division is expected.

The NCRA mod-lite division will be led by the only champion the tour knows as two-time and defending champion Justin Kinderknecht leads an expected fifteen-plus field of “mighty-might’s” atop the tracks three-eighths mile clay oval.

The tracks weekly division of Thumpers will also be on the race card and will be competing for $500 to win; $100 to start championship feature.

Attention race fans! Wear a BLUE SHIRT at this Saturday night, April 1, season opening event at the speedway and register to win a General Admission VIP Pass for the 2017 season to any program except the April 21-22 Park City Cup / Air Capital Shootout and the Saturday, May 6, World of Outlaw date. That’s 32 regular season race programs valued at more than $500.00!!!

Crew members, you can also “feel the love” on this special night. Wear a BLUE SHIRT and if your car wins the Championship Feature event in either the NCRA Late Model Series, NCRA Mod Lite Series or Thumper division, and take home an EXTRA $100.00 Bonus!! *Note: Minimum of (1) crew member wearing a BLUE SHIRT to be eligible.

Gates will open at 5:00 PM with race action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. Grandstand admission is just $15.00 for ages 12 and Up; 11 and under will be admitted for free to the Grandstand. Pit passes are just $30 for ages 12 and up and children eleven and under just $15.
