Rob, I'm not sure that makes any difference....Granted I'm no techie geek but I think TV may be the only other live coverage for actual viewing.....As for radio or race data apps, I remember listening to the Indy 500 on radio for years.....It just wasn't the same as being there.....With the less than a capacity crowd and poor ratings numbers I'm afraid of what's coming.....PPV or worse, only select races covered..... Don't care much about the ratings, it is sad to see the stands as empty as they were especially with that being one of the best Martinsville races in a long time. It was awesome to watch Busch and Keslowski go at it hard and clean! While you may not care about rating I'm pretty sure that sponsors and whichever media outlet is covering the event does. HiTech Posted April 4, 2017 Report Share Posted April 4, 2017 well I am going to choke here I wasn't a fan of the format nascar has with segments but seems I was just a tiny bit wrong .seems to be working in a few ways one it lets teams have some time to adjust their set ups and that has helped some in getting some cars up nearer to the front where other wise could not happen jmo if it keeps the racing a little better than before the fan base will grow again ..I have to admit I have watched more nascar racing this year than the last three years combined mainly to see how their system was going to work out and figured it would fell and I bet on it it would .does not seem to be the case so far .I still don't like the chase part and never will ..
