Watch for a media release this evening announcing The Largest Easter Egg Hunt in Edna's History! We will take out advertisements in several of the local newspapers, and post a full media release on LoneStarSpeedzone.com, Facebook and on the texanaracewaypark.org front page. Mark your calendars now to be a part of The Largest Easter Egg Hunt in Edna's History! April 8th!! An event kids will remember for the rest of their life! Sidenote, we will table the school bus on April 8th, still draw for a kid to ride as a passenger with their favorite driver for a few laps at intermission right after the Easter Egg Hunt. The track will handle purchasing the items, stuffing plastic eggs, etc., and we will be shopping for some sponsors this week to compliment the event. Should a race team want to bring a special basket for a drawing, or any other ideas a team may have, we will definitely work with you and incorporate it in the program with recognition to that team for any additional items. Owen Posted March 27, 2017 Report Share Posted March 27, 2017 When we used to do this we would add bicycles to the giveaway, kind of the golden egg thing, find and egg with a special ticket inside win a bicycle for the kids. The announcer will donate a bicycle for the cause and bring some Pre-stuffed plastic eggs to add to the count. Everyone that can pitch in for the kids it will be greatly appreciated. We will include mention of special prize eggs in our media release and grow with the items following. And, by the way, we had numerous sincere compliments on the announcer for TRP on opening night. texana55 Posted March 27, 2017 Report Share Posted March 27, 2017 We will bring an egg with a $15 gift card for the Edna Sonic, an egg with a $15 gift certificate from Bar-B-Que to Go in Ganado and we will donate $20 to Mr. Blankenship for the event costs/preparations, from Monty Chamberlain and "All Shook Up", the 57 Chevy Street Stock.
