HiTech Posted March 18, 2017 Report Share Posted March 18, 2017 Just another one our nations historic figures lost but wont be forgotten I am glad the wife and I got see him on stage at our local navy station oh 1988 or 89 his last song let anyone come up on stage and dance the duck with him ... .so many bands through the 60s and 70s picked up on his style and copied it rolling stones beach boys beatles and many others .once I was crossing turtle creek man them snappers all around my feet sure was hard swimming cross that thing with both hands held onto my ding a ling a ling his only number one hit in 1972 ...and a good song to get the girls to sing with you ..loved it ..
