TRP
So, the sun is shining and the place is slowly drying out. We are working at the track to get the pits dry. This week, the forecast is working in our favor. How about some practice time this Saturday, March 18th... Same plan as we had before with cars rolling on the track about 5pm and rolling with practice until about 10pm. We'll open the pits for entry about 3pm if you want to enter the pits and come out anytime during the evening that works for you. *We will have the concession stand open. *Parts and fuel will be for sale. *$20 per person entering the pits. General entry is free. *Register your car for the season for $25 and if you want a reserved parking space that will be $25 for the season. Bring your sign to hang if you buy a reserved parking space (we've sold about 25 spaces already). *Pit Parking will be inside the main pits only. We will not use the area recently used by the Mod Lites unless we have a busy night with overflow. We will use that area for those without a car/trailer to park who want a closer walk to the pit shack and entry in the pits. We will not be parking any vehicles not towing a trailer/car in the main pits, other than track staff. We will post practice info on Facebook and the www.texanaracewaypark.org website. Help us spread the word and we welcome fans to join in the general admission for the free entry. It will be great for Edna to hear some race cars again! TRP
Also a reminder again... We will have the Rent-a-Racecars on hand to be rented for $20 for five laps. Must purchase a pit pass and can get in line and go as many five lap sessions as you want for $20 per session. We do have helmets, suits and other safety equipment if needed. And, this is for the novice who has not raced in the past.
TRP
And, bring any class of race car you want to bring to practice. It doesn't have to be just one of the four classes we will be racing. Bring a sprint car, a Late Model, a Big Block Mod or anything else you want to get some practice in.
