We have "Test and Tune Number Two" at Grandsport Speedway in Hitchcock, Texas, coming up on Sunday, March 19. All Lone Star Legacy teams are invited to take part.

Grandsport is a high-speed, flat 1.4-mile road course South of Houston towards Galveston. A fee of $150 per car is good for all day. There is no charge for spectators or crew, just for the car. Bring whatever you want to eat and bring plenty of water. No alcohol until the track is closed for the day.

Last time we had all the track time we could handle with everyone pretty much worn out by mid-afternoon. We got started around 9:30 or so and were on the track at least every hour - and sometimes twice an hour for our many 20-minute sessions.

A little setup info for the stock Legacys

- No sway bar needed, but you may find you'd like to add one later on. James has a kit that works well.

- Even up on the springs. 360 to 400# both sides up front and 180 to 200# in the rear.

- Tire pressure around 15 to 16 to start - maybe a pound less in the rear.

- Ride height at 4 to 4/12 both sides in front and an inch higher in the rear.

- Caster at 2 to 3 degrees positive both sides

- Camber 1 degree negative both sides to start out.
- Gear ratio from 3;70 to 4;10

Feel free to call James or Nick you have question and we'll do our best to help.
Oh - The $150 payable at the track before you go on the track and there is a mandatory drivers meeting at 9 am
Hope to see y'all there.
