It got cut to pieces by the sports editor who was not a big race fan at the time.... Here's the qualifying story as printed in the March 8, 1987 edition of The San Antonio Light And here's the race recap - what was left of it before it got cut to pieces by the sports editor who needed the column inches for some "real" sport or other...
