More 60's Racers from Pennsylvania

The Montag-Oesterling Ford coupe that Ralph Quarterson won many races with in the late 60s/early 70s. Originally painted and numbered 00 for Andy Phillips to drive, which he maybe only did a couple of times, the car was repainted metallic blue with Quarterson’s # 66 on the sides!! Quarterson won a few races with the car as #00, but most as #66 and there are few photos of the car as #00. Car has been restored as #66 and the last I knew the Hein Brothers had it here in Butler. If my memory is correct, Herb Scott drove the car in a couple of races at the old Butler Speedway about 1968 before Quarterson became the regular driver. Quarterson flipped the car pretty good at Mercer, probably later in 1969, and it may have been at that point that it was repainted to #66.
