Following Rule Changes coming for 2017 Pure Stocks;

  • Aluminum body panels will be allowed with 50lbs. of ballast weight mounted forward of engine firewall. Roof and rear roof supports must remain as is - OEM Steel.
  • Brake pedal can be aftermarket and does not have to be mounted in stock location, may have 1 single aftermarket brake master cylinder, front to rear brake bias cannot be adjustable.

will gutted cars still have to weigh 3400?

by last years rules, I read if it is gutted out than 3400. I could be wrong, maybe they're not going by that this year. But it states above A,B,C pillars are to remain. Lets see what the official ruling is

Kinda why I was asking wasn't sure if they were getting rid of that part or not.
